We created the stieg'nhaus for this kind of travel experience. When we first saw the original building, it was especially the old stairwell—with its curves and brass railing—that stood out to us. It became the starting point for the entire design concept.
Today, natural stone, wood, warm surfaces, soft lighting, and clean lines define the hotel. Our six suites range in size from about 35 to 80 square meters and are intentionally designed to be distinct from one another. Each features a freestanding bathtub; the “Circular” and “Pergola” suites also include a private sauna, and the “Pergola” suite additionally features a private outdoor hot tub.
Our guests also repeatedly mention the architecture, the interior, and the special amenities in their reviews. That was exactly our goal: to create a place where design and well-being go hand in hand as a matter of course.

The restaurant, rooftop spa, fitness room, and wellness area are all on-site, while the mountains begin practically right outside the front door. The Karbachalmbahn is about one kilometer away; in winter, the ski bus takes our guests comfortably to the ski area.
A typical day on vacation can be wonderfully simple: a leisurely breakfast, then out for a hike, a day of skiing, or an e-bike ride, and later back to the hotel. Hiking boots or ski boots give way to a bathrobe and slippers.
In the rooftop spa, featuring a panoramic sauna and whirlpool, tranquility and relaxation take center stage. Massages and facials offer extra time for yourself, and the fitness room is open around the clock. In the evening, a four-course dinner awaits.
